What is your second favorite pairing for each person in your favorite ship/couple? Why?

My favorite ship/couple is Darla and Angel

For Darla: Drusilla
-They were a great evil team
-There was some underlying chemistry between JB and JL.
-They were entertaining to watch

For Angel:Gwen
-chemistry between AD and DB
-The is the only person who did survive from her touching.
-elevator kiss
-She is badass and hot.
 
My favorite couple is Buffy/Spike.

I'd say Dru for Spike. Though toxic as it was, they had great cheministy and were interesting to watch. His care for her was endearing.

For Buffy, I'd say Scott Hope.

For Angel, my second favorite pairing would be him with Darla, as they had a really interesting dynamic.
Buffy's way harder for me. If we're allowed to pick a non-canon ship, I'd probably pick Buffy/Oz, but if we have to stick with canon... I'd probably choose her with Spike, but only in S7 (I can't ship them before he gets a soul; I know others can, but I personally can't).
 
My favorite couple is Buffy and Angel and I have a lot of trouble imagining them with other people, but to answer the thread question I would say:
Angel with Darla.
They have exceptional dynamics and I loved ATS season two for Dangel.

For Buffy, Gunn comes to mind. I don't know why, but the idea intrigues me. I wished they had met at least once, but it never happened.
Alternatively I really like the idea of Buffy and Faith, maybe not forever but ... let's not put limits on providence 😅
 
Xander and Katrina Silber

There is no evidence they ever met but they would be the best-looking couple on the whole show.

Darla & Dru. I could get behind that ship. 😉
Vamp Willow & Drusilla would make for a wicked ship! 🙂
 
Favorite couple: Xander/Cordelia

For Cordelia: Doyle - they were so adorable in those first nine episodes and I think they would have made each other better as people if given a chance.

For Xander: Ampata - best one I could come up with, but I did enjoy how adorable they were until she turned on him.
