What are your thoughts on "Spike" being Buffy's last line in the show?

I have my own reasons why I think Spike didn't tell Buffy he was alive, and Buffy not seeking him out in no way proves she didn't love him. 😉

But yes, it does appear to indicate that Buffy doesn't love him. The man you apparently 'love' is alive after you thought he died, and you don't go to seek him out? Not even a call? Speaks volumes. Hard to see it any other way, I'd say.

It feels like an answer to a question, because it was an answer to a question. No matter what the Spuffies want to make of it.

I am not surprised by this as it did seem to be the way to be. Buffy obviously liked Spike so much, really though this wasn't a show about who Buffy liked it was a show about the character slaying vampires not having sex with them.

Buffy The Vampire Slayer, a girl chosen by the powers that be, (probably Joss's version of God). So how on earth could the Chosen One's last word be about a demon?

Not to be argumentative but there are so many lovers of girl power who must hate being the lovers of all things demonic.
