ILLYRIAN
Druish Pervonian Wizard
THE CAULDRONS BREW
Oz and a few friends had gone into the back of the church hoping to find those who wished to cause havoc to the people of the village but found the rooms empty, that only caused them to feel more than a little bored that evening so the pack wandered away from the village where they saw and followed Willow, they were hoping that she would afford them some much needed entertainment.
Oz followed her into the nearby forest where he knew Willow’s latest boyfriend had bought himself a cottage with a white picket fence. He wandered about the fence until he returned to where he had just started out from. Going to the front door of the cottage he stepped to the side of it and glanced to see inside the room through the window.
He was more than just a bit surprised, even though he knew he shouldn’t have been. On a long table near the open fire he saw that Willow was tending a cauldron which he saw her adding herbs into it. When she stirred the content’s into a paste, then added several jugs of water Oz knew she was making a broth. Willow added several handfuls of sawdust,
that she had just recently cut from the sawn small branches of wood. She added more spices to the concoction then it was leaves of thyme and mint. The woft began to fill the room, Oz turned to the gardens gate as a few more of his mates came to see what the interest was and why. Oz indicated for them to look in the window, when they did Willow was pouring two ladles
of the Thyme and mint broth into a small bowl, Oz knew she was going to be making some medicine. Willow then poured several ladles of the Thyme and mint based fluid into a slightly larger bowl that Willow blended several leaves from a small branch of the Comfrey plant adding to that mixture was the leaves of a Pyrethrum plant. Veruca leant towards Oz
she asked him what the reason was for her to do that. Oz was deep in thought then he smiled to Veruca. I have often used a spray mainly of the leaves of the Pyrethrum plant to keep insects at bay it works well with most spiders as well.
“Okay so we’ve seen the cough medicine and the insect spray, what will the rest of the mixture be for,” asked Veruca.
Oz looked at the size of the cauldron,
”Judging by the size of the cauldron I feel safe to say that Willow is going to make a crème for someone’s skin, it could be for a man who builds houses or a farmer. Considering the environment it is likely to be a farmer.
Hearing a horse coming towards them they all hid from view at the back of the cottage. When the horse came into sight they saw the horse pulled a wagon, it stopped outside the gate of the cottage. Willow carried a bottle of the crème out to the wagon then returned to the cottage with two dead chicken. A couple of hours later Willow took a bottle of the Pyrethrum spray
to a man on a horse, he gave her a bag of potatoes in return. Next came a farmer on his horse, when he got down from his horse Oz could see the man had some pain with his back muscles. Oz looked at those with him.
“And that will be what the crème will be for, the lucky man is about to get himself a massage by Willow,” stated Oz.
About to wander to the front of the cottage the farmer saw several strangers clamber over the picket fence then they rushed towards the cottage. The farmer knew he needed to be quick and made it just in time, he closed the front door as they were transforming to be werewolves, that didn't hold them back and they smashed their way into the cottage.
Willow allowed the farmer to escape from them then she tried to hide from them but she was to slow and only managed to pin herself against the wall beside the open fireplace.
"I know you want to attack me, to eat me but I am not going to make this easy for you."
Willow moved her head violently side to side, to try and stop him from kissing her.
“Why did she move her head so violently side to side, after all he was only going to kiss her?” asked Veruca.
“Willow knows he has the strength of a werewolf and the sting of a spider, if he had kissed her she’d feel the excruciating pain, and constantly,
he has venomous poison in his talons," said Oz.
"I would hate to feel that much pain constantly running through my body. Plus whenever Willow was to look at him she would see him enjoying the thrill of her writhing in pain,” said Oz.
Veruca glanced to Oz,
“I’m not saying that I like Willow but I do not wish that sort of pain on anyone,” said Veruca.
Oz suggested they all try to save Willow, those outside the walls agreed, wrestling the doors open the werewolves surprised the spiders before they could transform.
Sat in the cottage by herself when all was quiet Willow realised it was the werewolves who had just saved her.
