This thread is for discussion of the Sunnydale Fanfic Club podcast. The next story will be:

Dawntasia

Summary: "The story is set some time between 'Wrecked' and 'Hell's Bells.' The relationships between the Scoobies are all fraught with tension. Dawn wonders if there is anything she could do to fix it all."

I'm sure they'll need another week of editing to separate the wheat from the chaff. Quinci and Jenny are the two most patient ladies in the 'verse.

You actually inspired me to write that Spike story that's been tumbling around in my head for ages. I assume that was the intention, no?

Recording was very funny, but I fear I ramble a lot.

Anytime i can encourage people to write Spike without Buffy as a pairing is #lifegoals.

As a bonus, the first part of the story will be Angel and Buffy planning their wedding. Am I right in saying Liam died at 27? I was planning to do a thing about Buffy and Angel marrying and Angel shanshuing on the 10th anniversary of Suprise, the day Buffy becomes Angel's age.

I really want to give that story to you. If I get a really good idea for it, then I will write it. Maybe if I could come up with a twist sorta like in Storyteller, because I try to give all my stories some emotional punch. One major hurdle will be introducing the Ranger Team to new readers.

Please, please, please, forgive me for not having the presence of mind to give you shout out like you did for me. It would have been such a joy for me to talk about how much I enjoy the style of Another Minute and Believing. I guess I got swept up in talking about my own ideas and questions came flying quickly... 🙁

Yeah, that's true. They were very specific to their time and place. Well, if an idea hits you, I will be happy, but otherwise I can just revisit those chapters in Buffy - Return of the Vampire Slayer.

Oh my goodness, don't worry about that at all! The audience of that podcast has heard quite enough about me by now. And anyway those things have the potential to go wrong - remember when JforJenny thought I called @dcai0830 a stripper? 😛

oh, I won't be able to write something this soon, if ever. But I definitely want to try eventually. I just feel like I need to read more fanfics before I'm ready to create one.

And I used my tumblr name buffy-angel-and-co

I’m not making April to much RL going on. Maybe the next one. Also, I’ve decided I don’t do well with prompts. I think I hyper focus on the object thing. But I am writing things here and there. S7 has inspired many a little ficlet so maybe something will come of it.

What?! The Wizard, the witch and the vampire was amazing! It's my favorite of yours (that I've read) so far!

Well that's nice to hear! I'm not as attached to that story myself but I'm glad someone enjoyed it :)
@WillowFromBuffy - I really enjoyed your episode on the podcast! I feel like I have such a better understanding of your thought process and headspace with regards to not just your writing, but the way you see the characters and how you approach the fandom. I wish I could hear everyone on BB speak on a podcast like this. I think it would really give us a fully rounded perspective. My favorite part was when you called Angel cerebral. 😉 Good job! I hope you had fun. Look forward to your Buffy/Angel & Spike/Dru fic.
 
Thanks guys! I am impressed you're even able to understand my mumblings. I sounds as though I'm not quite all there.

I finally got a chance to listen! It was a such a great episode, and I loved hearing more from you, @WillowFromBuffy. I especially liked your answers to my questions (of course!)
