One Sentence Story

So this game is very simple. We tell a story by each posting one sentence that carries on from the previous post.

So to start off...

It was a cold Fall evening and Buffy was setting off on patrol.

 

[wolfheart]

Spike watched her from a distance and smoked a cigarette.

 

[Nix]

Buffy could sense someone was watching her but continued her patrol even if it was a foggy evening.

 

[DeepBlueJoy]

Neither noticed the portal open until it was too late.

 

[twoslayers]

There was a shimmering light and a cloaked figure emerged.

 

[wolfheart]

Buff gasped for air, who was this cloaked figure?

 

[quillandfang]

"The Slayer..." growled a deep voice, "I've been looking for you."

 

[twoslayers]

Buffy gasped at the figure stepped forward and she could make out who it was.

 

[DeepBlueJoy]

"Mom?"

 

[wolfheart]

"Yes child its me, your mom!" Buffy was confused must she fight or flee?

Buffy twirled her stake in her hand slowly as she considered her options.

 

[SavvyScoobie]

Spike kept watching from a distance, ready to jump in if needed.

 

[Joan the Vampire Slayer]

"Uh, can someone explain what's going on?" Buffy asked, looking over at Spike helplessly.

 

[DeepBlueJoy]

"Well..." Spike strode up to where Buffy was standing with Joyce and a cloaked figure, "She sure smells like Joyce...!"

 

[SavvyScoobie]

"Excuse me, that was very rude," Joyce replies.

 

[Anyanka Bunny Slayer]

Buffy was momentarily confused, "Mom, what are you doing here?!"

 

[DeepBlueJoy]

"She was needed so we brought her across the veil," the hooded stranger vanished into the portal in a dramatic, dark swirl.

 

[Anyanka Bunny Slayer]

Buffy just stood there as the stranger vanished, thinking, "Why do I always get the ones who insist on a dramatic exit?"
