It looks like her cause of death was complications related to diabetes.

That's a shame. I've known other people whose diabetes is not well-controlled, despite their best efforts. I am surprised that she had a liver transplant then, when the common transplant for diabetes is kidney and/or pancreas. It's terrible, though, something she must have had to struggle with all her life.

still makes me so sad; I can't believe it. I just lost my grandmother the day before yesterday too and it's like you really hardly ever see deaths coming. I'm relatively "lucky" my mom passed just over 5 years ago and we actually sadly saw it coming and got to say goodbye... my grandmother though who was very very close with me, my siblings and I living next door growing up... she just left unexpectedly two nights ago. At least I can say she made it to bed and peacefully passed in her sleep which is ideal as ideal as death can be.
Really will miss Michelle in New Sunnydale too but thankfully, we always have her in the original as Dawn 💓💓💓
