I was rambling about Darla as follows:
3) I know that I really wish we had more interaction between Darla and Buffy. I know that it would turn into a love triangle and people aren't usually into that -- whatever, but honestly the parallels between Buffy and Darla are so good that I would have liked to see at least one episode (besides the Season 1 Darla stuff which is fine but lets face it was underdeveloped) where we really see AtS Darla and Buffy interacting.
I can see this happening a few ways:
Buffy in Reunion, being called in to help with Darla/Drusilla. Darla and Buffy have a confrontation. I almost like this happening with Angel no where near them. Both of them talking to each other about how they understand Angel. I think their view points on him are so starkly different. They both think they know Angel better than the other, but maybe they know different sides of him.
Or I would like a post Epiphany Darla, pissed because she wasn't enough to make Angel lose his soul confront Buffy. Again - I think the conversation would be interesting. Darla intrigued by Buffy what makes her so special. Maybe Darla goes over to Buffy, abducts her and just asks her questions, and they compare notes so to speak. But then Angel goes and helps Buffy when Darla tries to kill Buffy.
The last idea that I had was a pregnant Darla, pissed and hormonal finding a depressed Buffy. I just think those two characters would be a hoot. Darla finds out that Buffy is sleeping with Spike (not sure if the timing would fit necessarily but I think it would) and finds it hilarious, using it to continue to drive a wedge between her and Angel, and adding to Buffy's depression. And I would like to see Buffy actually protect Darla because she is carrying Angel's baby, despite her hate for the woman.
