I'm just going to drop the bauble... Christmas!!

I've done 1/2 my present shopping now.... getting there! 😀
Well done!

Here's a question when it comes to Christmas shopping (well, gift shopping in general, but this is a Christmas thread!): do you have gifts in mind for people and then go to purchase, or do you randomly browse at stores/online and then see something you think would make a good gift for a loved one?

I tend to do a bit of both to be honest 🙂

Yes, sometimes you see something that's a good buy so you get it and then work out who you might give it to.

Sometimes that's yourself. 😀

I finished my Christmas shopping. Also have a couple of birthdays coming up for friends, and shopped for those too. Checked I've got all my supplies (wrapping paper, cards, fancy bows) and am all set.

Thankfully I don't have any oddly-shaped gifts to wrap that would make me break into a sweat. 😂

That's why it is important to save any boxes you get things in! Phone boxes are great for small gifts, because they tend to be very strong, but other boxes can still be useful. I have always saved jewellery boxes, given that not all such come in their own boxes, so they're regularly useful.

That's actually a really good tip - thanks! Will keep it in mind from now on. I do tend to hang onto that soft tissue paper if I need to wrap a delicate item (like jewellery), before wrapping it in regular wrapping paper.
