I'm just going to drop the bauble... Christmas!!

Halloween and thanksgiving day right? We in The Netherlands we got on 5 december Sinterklaas( A kind of santa claus) and then also christmas and new year. Here in The Netherlands they never embraced Halloween, i went as Jason once, i had a blast!

So Christmas is cool but what Joan said Halloween first
 
Yes I do posts for Halloween as well, as my neighbour and I normally decorate and collect for charity.

However if people don't like this thread don't post in it 😀
 
We have a tradition that very year Abbs sets the theme that everyone has to do if they are coming round on Christmas Day.
We've had everything from tacky Christmas jumpers to onesis. lol

This year its a colour... Pink.... Thankfully my tree is mostly pink with accents of red and silver. However trying to find a silly pink top for her Dad, and a nice Christmassy top for me and her is a bit tougher. I've found a pink Little Miss tshirt just about possibly big enough for her Dad lmao... and I've found a pink thin jumper with a bit of sparkle for me - thanks Vinted! Now to sort Abbs out...

From December 1st every day is Christmas jumper day!

Last year I bought another Christmas bedding set too, so I can have that throughout December as well.

Here in the U.S. we get Labor Day first then Helloween. Yeah, the local Cracker Barrel restaurant was already putting out Halloween stuff in their showroom at the end of July. I asked one of the workers about it and they said that's what corporate said to do. I surmise that soon all the major retailers will have Christmas stuff up all year long......they will do anything to promote more sales.
 
My advent calendar arrived! I got the taskmaster one this year, so excited to open it December 1st.

I'm thinking about doing myself a December 1st box, is that odd?

I quite like the idea that I start December when new Christmas pyjamas and maybe a Christmas book or film, some sweets and hot chocolate.

I also might get one of those 12 days calendars, and then open it during the 12 days of Christmas, give me
post Christmas day gifts too!

Oh I LOVE this idea 😀

In the nearby town we are getting a shop called The Works, which sells all sorts of things form books to craft supplies and is great for little gifts. Also our shop called Primark is going ONLINE woohoo, also great for Christmas bits & clothes 😀

We were supposed to get The works, but got mountain warehouse instead, much more boring.
