How Was Your Day?

Can always tell when it is school holidays. Town is trashed haha. All the lower branches are ripped off the trees. I walked past my neighbours house today and the bottom of their window has been smashed. Another neighbour a few streets over had rocks put through their car windows. Reports of stolen bicycles everywhere, fires, the most recently deceased neighbours house got ransacked, obviously by children because they didnt take anything of value. The playground has had all of the latches off the gates stolen, the fences have been kicked in. I am pretty sure there was poop smeared on the slide and up the stairs. Rubbish absolutely everywhere. And socks, the poodle enjoys the socks.

I do like to see the children out on their bikes and on the courts and oval, thats how they should be. They should have all this space to run around and make their own fun. It would be better if their own fun didnt include criminal damage, but thats more on the parents than on the unsupervised children at all. No one has told them no, so how are they supposed to know?

I was tempted to go to the inlet again today, but its a very long drive on a winding road during peak road trauma time, so I decided against it. I am itching to get out of town though, so I will probably go as soon as the tourists clear off.

A neighbour brought me flowers yesterday, that was really sweet of her, I know she was just after gossip and she got none from me, but I got everyone elses gossip. Its those kinds of things that make me feel like I am not cut out for community, and would be better living back in society, but on the other hand, there are perks, like flowers.
 
I got my flu and Covid shots today, and got $40 for doing it! There was a promotion at my grocery store to get $20 off your next purchase if you got two vaccines. I was dubious because the pharmacy never seems to know how to process these promotions, but this time he did, enough to add it to my card, but he accidentally did it twice! He couldn't figure it out, so shrugged and let me go. Now I'm waiting to find out if two shots = twice the arm pain.

I finally got Thai food at the little place next to the bus stop. When I was having to take the bus, I never felt I could stop in. Now I finally have a car again, I was able to try it, and it was quite good.

I have been enjoying my clarinet very much today! I knew I was going to have to transpose the Michael Jackson music to have it sound right, but then I thought I'd just try sight read it up a step. I was stoked that I could do it with the easy C, F and G major pieces. but I think I'd knock my confidence if I even tried with any harder key signatures, so I broke out the pencil. I was really pleased that I am not as useless as I thought. I still want a new clarinet though. I didnt win the $100 million powerball last night but I had spent it on this in my head -

Took the dogs to the duck pond yesterday. The poodle got told off by a moodle. Now we are hopefully home for the weekend with a bottle of whiskey.

Went to store before work. Lady in bakery asked while was walking by if wanted 12 piece variety flavors real cheesecake for 2$. Wasn't planning on buying anything but was like: yes I do! Thats like 1/10 normal price. Took 4 pieces home. Left rest for coworkers to have. 🙂

Pulled out $5000 for roof repair today as part of a progressive payment schedule. Scheduled $5184 of work on the Subaru that blew a head gasket. Found the battery dead on the Subaru. Is this God's way of telling me I have too much money?

I finally filled out my Toyota survey, giving five stars to the salesperson and one star to the finance people. Then I drove up to get my license plates. My salesperson was right there at the desk and came out with her long nails, high heels, and power drill to put my new plates on. Made me feel guilty about that survey, though I gave her top scores. I got Taco Time and feel better about it.

Had an early half day at work. Manager Friend got me a hot cocoa since we were opening together. ☕️ Yummy! Got hair trimmed/styled. Then hit nearby store for few things. Now on way home...
 
I have had a GREAT day!! I found a recording of live Michael Jackson vocals that I hadn't heard before. Incredible! This man could sing more notes than I can play on the clarinet! I have paused it before Workin' Day and Night cos Dirty Diana was just beyond my comprehension, I am still digesting it. Workin Day and Night is gona get me up and dancing and I will likely hurt myself.

I got sunburned on walkies and havent found the aloevera yet, dont let me forget!

I had to take a neighbour to the city yesterday so I did write off today, but its been a lot of fun just to muck around online. I didnt have to cook OR water the garden so I had extra energy and I love it! I am starting to understand the appeal of apartments and places with no garden. Although I would be a terrible neighbour with my music, including my clarinet.

I'll be around the chatty room for the night if anyone is on. I dont have much to post about Buffy today. Im still in my music mood.

This day is ok, reading posts at the forum, listening to music, drawing some stuff about a Pirate King who is at Arkham City to cross Batman, drinks some zero Dr.Foots(what gets me to burb)

You've asked me this multiple times. I grew up with MJs music and was surrounded by his influence on pop culture as a kid, but I didn't fall head over heels in love with his music until a few months ago. I am still in my very obsessed fangirl phase. It will pass, but it hasn't yet and I am in no rush to make it pass! It is SO MUCH FUN!

I hope no one bothers me over the weekend. I am all socialised out. I just want to wrap myself in the music and bliss out.

Have fun with his music ,im a fanboy of Prince and grew up with him. Just be happy and enjoy MJs music he was a genius
