So what are you lovely people up to on this fine Halloween?

Weather permitting we (my neighbour and I) will be decorating on Halloween and collecting for charity if anyone wants to donate on the night they can but its not essential. Some of the older members will know we like to decorate.. hopefully the weather changes and its a sunny or just a dry not windy day. We've collected even more decorations for this year so excited to put them up for the trick or treaters... although they only mean treats these days lol. Got a stash of sweets ready, so we'll be out from about 1pm till about 8pm!!

Sadly we dont have Halloween in the Netherlands, we have carnaval here and parades, but im not into that

Am on holiday in Prague this Halloween. Hopefully there'll be some kinda activities 🎃

The other people where I live are devout Christians, strangely enough they don't believe in all manner of other worldly animals like I do, especially the type who go bump during the dark hours of night.

I live in a locked building, so I never get trick-or-treaters. I've been walking around my neighborhood enjoying the decorations. Lots of inflatable stuff this year; I hope it doesn't get windy! I listened to some Edgar Allan Poe short stories as an audiobook. I've put up a few crepe pumpkins and other little things in my own place.

We got hit by strong winds and even non-inflateables were affected. I found a few bones scattered around by the winds.

(Just to make clear, these were plastic bones. 😀)

I've been pretty depressed lately and unmotivated to do as much as I normally would for my favorite holiday, but I did manage to put up my decorations the other day, which definitely cheered me up. I'm also planning to watch both Halloween Buffy episodes tonight. I am working Halloween weekend, and costumes are encouraged so I'm dressing up as both Buffy and Rosie the Riveter! We're having a party Saturday night with a DJ, karaoke and costume contest and me and my coworker came up with some fun drink specials. It should be a good time! I do plan to leave an honor system bowl of candy on my porch for the trick or treaters.
