Create an Alternative Cast for BtVS

How would you choose an alternative cast for BtVS?
Since this is a game, you can bend the rules of time and space a little bit. 😏

Rules:
  1. You can assign an actor who didn't appear on BtVS, to any character. (Jude Law to Spike βœ…)
  2. You can assign an original cast-member or a guest actor to a character they didn't originally portray. (Alyson Hannigan to Faith βœ…) (Amy Adams to Willow βœ…)
  3. You cannot assign an actor to the character they already portrayed. (Alyson Hannigan to Willow ❌❌❌)
  4. You can assign an actor to a younger role than their current age, and we can imagine their younger selves to portray the character. (Liv Tyler to portray Dawn βœ…) (Audrey Hepburn to portray Joyce βœ…)
  5. You don't have to do all of the characters, you can leave some out if you don't feel like coming up with actors for them. But that doesn't mean the original actors will be cast by default. 😈

I actually recognise most, well over half anyway, of those names. Krysten Ritter is from Jessica Jones right? If she's who I'm thinking of, then yes I think she would be great as Faith.

Not sure how she'd do with Dru but it made me think, OH MY!!!! Just imagine her as Spike. That would be awesome. I sooo want to see that.

I'd want her to give Dru a try, she played some mad characters well so far (as one disguise of Amahl Farouk in Legion πŸŽƒ) Seeing her as Spike would be interesting too!
Ritter basically played Faith on "Don't Trust The B in Apartment 23." It's still on Hulu, go watch it. You are allowed to give up near the end of the second season.

In the beginning days of quarantine last year, I was about to start watching it, but somehow I didn't. Now it is positioned higher on my watchlist. Thank you. πŸ˜„
Buffy- Jennifer Lawrence (age 30)
Dawn- Millie Bobby Brown (age 17)
Willow- Kiernan Shipka (age 21)
Faith- Vanessa Morgan (age 28)

This is off the top of my head and I put their ages in πŸ˜‚

I didn't recognise Vanessa Morgan's name but after googling her, I realized she was the lead from "My Babysitter's a Vampire," a show I used to watch enthusiastically when I was a kid. :D She'd make a good Faith. πŸ˜„

This show is just shockingly underrated! Like it’s a crime it got cancelled when it did.

Big yes to Krystan Ritter playing Faith, particularly with how she plays the troubled Jane (who also has a mean streak) in Breakinf Bad

I'd recast the role of Veruca with Amy Acker and just make her Fred's twin so AA can still play Fred. Just imagine how awkward that would be for Willow when she goes to LA to help Angel and meets Fred.

Make life interesting for our Willow, have Oz play Veruca and have Veruca play Oz. Will that cause our Willow to smile?
On another note what if Heath Ledger was to portray Spike, I know Heath Ledger is dead but the person who was that poetry buff is dead as is the vampire Spike!

Casting dead actors for BtVS is something to do on this thread! I cast Charlie Chaplin and Marlon Brando and a lot of actors whose current age is not suitable for their roles. We just gotta imagine 😜
Julie Benz would make a wonderful Giles, can't you just imagine our Julie training Buffy.
Plus there is another juicy element to consider here.
Our Julie and our Willow acting opposite each other, Angel had better be a good boy if he wants his soul back.

One might even consider Charisma Carpenter as Darla.
