Hello, I have been having this problem where I can't read this fanfic IMITATION OF A MAN BY DARKAPPLE because when I go on live journal and click on any of the chapters, it says 'access denied' and 'you have no permission to view this entry'. How do i fix this? Can any of you post links to individual chapters maybe I could read them then?

Have you tried contacting the help support for Livejournal? They seem more appropriate to assist with this.
I have and I just received a reply a few minutes ago. I contacted the author of the book and asked about the book, but when I was asking here, I had in mind that someone could help me view the story with some kind of tricks? Like with RSS feed because I don't really understand it and I can't seem to get it working right.

I'm doubtful. The author doesn't seem very active. Even if they log on to see my message, doesn't mean they'll let me see their story. I mean, they put a limited access on the story for a reason, right?
They could have, and because that could very well be the case there may be a reason the author doesn't want the work available right now. You kinda have to respect their wishes in that regard I'm afraid.

Could it be that the author does not understand the ludicrous hoops he/she needed to get through to have a story on Livejournal.

^ Don't know about that, maybe. I was browsing through the internet for spuffy fics and this one seemed to be on everyone's recommended list, so it seemed like many people have read it. Maybe the story was available to everyone at some point and then later changed.
I don't really read buffyverse fics, but I used to read twifics and heaps of authors pulled their work off the net to be published as a stand alone story. It happened especially for the popular ones. Maybe you could see if it is available for purchase somewhere? I always love to see fanfic authors get published beyond fanfic, some work a heck of a lot harder than the original authors do!
At least a dozen or more authors in BtVS fanfic have been published, and that's just the ones that wrote Spuffy; I think it's really amazing 🙂
I mean, sure, but you'd need a list of their official names since very few of them post original work under their BtVS screen-names. There used to be a list, but I can't seem to find it right now. If I do, I'll post it here and tag you 🙂
