Thanks to Athena about the one sentence rule. All right, lets get rid of the dice and just try talking through the combat, that way we don't end up breaking a rule on the forum. Also, to avoid one sentence conversations, you can post a short conversation between characters yourself, but not their actions. Go for four sentences before posting it, then the other person can have you edit the conversation if they are opposed to something their character said.
It's a new day in Sunnydale High, and Buffy, Cordelia, Xander, and Giles are in the library. Xander has become Giles "Library Assistant" according to the school record, as Giles and Xander requested, which was granted by Principal Flutie after an interview with Xander, who told him that Giles had inspired him, and that he wanted to try hard to earn his respect. Publicly, Giles is Xander's mentor in academics, which he does help Xander with, and privately, he has begun training him to be a Watcher. Buffy has been noticing something strange when she's alone, but can't figure out what that is. Finally, Cordelia has used the excuse that Xander saved her from a mugger to update his style and make him cooler in the eyes of the students, still unfortunately not cool enough to date, however. Giles is trying desperately to explain why there are so many vampires in Sunnydale to the kids, who aren't getting it.
Finally, from behind a bookshelf, a handsome man walks towards the group. "It's because you're standing on the mouth of Hell, and it's about to open. The Harvest is tonight Kiddos, and you don't want to be around when The Master gets out." He turned to leave. (It's Angel, if that wasn't clear. He didn't approach Buffy last episode because she was with Cordelia most of the time.)
