And anyone recall a trend in the 90s of sucking on pacifiers? To the best of my knowledge only a few teens did it (and I actually remember more boys doing it than girls), supposedly because it helped prevent teeth grinding from using certain drugs, yet it was like a fashion statement, one that died a quick death and was never revived (and as far as I know may have been local, though it amazes me such a trend would exist in Texas for more than a day).
