So, the Scourers attacked Serenity and discovered that Book has some very special skills and knowledge left over from his younger years. But there are still a lot of Scourers intact and they are not happy.
Given when Vandal turned up they couldn't hold out, Temperance has turned herself over to him; it seems they have history together, and not a good one. Though I suspect Vandal is far more to blame than he thinks. Which would by typical.

So we're still no clearer if Jayne is Jane's father.
So Serenity has been attacked but Book's plan with the explosives worked well. I liked Jane wearing the hat, and River taking Vera, kinda wish they'd let her shoot for longer.
